Last auto-x of 2009 - on street tires

It was too cold (high of 45F) to heat up the big old V710's so I ran on the 225-50-16 Dunlop StarSpecs. I love these tires if you can keep them cool. But it was a little loose in the rear compared to the big tires!

Not a great finish overall, but 2 seconds over next ESP car, who was on race rubber (thus my decision to run street tires).
13th out of 38 cars

Here is the course map - 2 laps to make the run longer at a small area.




cones that are 2-2   ^^____^^ tell you that you have to go between them twice.
^^^______^^^ means 3 times. The map is not correct where 3 lines cross. You can see in the video there were 3___3 cones as a gate, not 2____2 shown in the map above.

We had many "off-course" penalties where driver missed a cone - maybe too confusing.
